Steel Form Panel is a permanent high-strenght, light-weight form used for poured concrete or aggregate in constrcution of floor slabs and roof decks.
When these Steel Form Panels are used for roof constrcution togheter with lightweight insulating concrete fill, they form a strong structural deck which supports the total weight of slab and roofing materials, plus the desired live loads. The deflections tabulated below for this use are higher than actuals because composite action between insulating concrete and steel deck has not been considered.
When the deck is used exclusively as a form for structural concret slabs, the total loads on the sheets consist of the weight of the wet concrete, plus some arbitrary live load for construction traffic. In this case, tabulated deflections are actual.
Consistent to quality, these panels are roll formed from hot dipped galvanized steel, G-90 coating, conforming to ASTM A 653, Grade 80 for Structural Quality Steel in Gage 28 with a minimum yield strenght of 80,000 psi. Each panel provides net coverage width of 30 inches and may be fabricated to custom lenghts up to 40 feet lenght.
Panels in Gage 20 and Gage 22 galvanized steel in lenght up to 40 feet can also be made to oredr. Technical date for these panels is not shown but is available upon request.
